Host Steve Smith began as a clown with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and went on to become that circuss Goodwill Ambassador. He later was Dean of the Ringling Clown College for ten years, and also served as director for the 123rd edition of The Greatest Show on Earth.He is a five-time Emmy Award winner for his work in childrens television, and a 1993 inductee into the Clown Hall of Fame.Smith has worked as a director and creative consultant for numerous clients, including Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, McDonalds, Verizon Wireless, Walt Disney World, Chuck Jones Film Productions, The Reduced Shakespeare Co., Princess Cruise Lines, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and many Off-Broadway theatre, cabaret, theme park, and film projects.
Kirk Marsh This talented funny man graduated from The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College in 1997. 20 years later he finds himself performing on stages around the world, at theme parks, on cruise ships and still...in his living room...for family.
Chris was with the Class of 1971, and performed on the Blue Show through 1974. After leaving Ringling, he traveled with circus productions throughout Japan, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, the continental U.S., and shipboard with son Noah to Finland, Estonia and Sweden. Eldest son Christopher also got in the act on a number of domestic engagements. Hes currently a Tuesday Tuesday morning DJ & does radio documentaries for Port Townsend, Washingtons KPTZ FM.
After graduating from RBBB Clown College in 1984 Angel Ocasio has been putting his training to good use performing comedy & clowning throughout the United States and Internationally. He produces, directs, writes and performs for variety, vaudeville, & USO style shows. Angel has performed for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in promotional events and was selected as the Clowns of America International Clown of the Year 2003. Since 2011, Angel has been the official Portland Rose Festivals award-winning Clown Prince.
Albert Alter attended Clown College in 1981 continued with Ringling Bros. as their assistant director for the startup and first session of RBBB Clown College Japan. He has continued to clown Internationally since his graduation. In addition, for the past 18 years he has clowned at Randalls Childrens Hospital.
Mary Reichel's circus career began under the big top with the Roberts Bros. Circus and she became a member of the World Famous Clown Alley with The Greatest Show on Earth in 2000. Mary and her husband toured with their two children and entertained families around the country while in Thliving Carousel and Sarah and the Tiger Shows. You can find Mary performing her very unique and specialized talents with fire and LED at Disney Springs,corporate events, and theme parks.
Matthew is a second-generation clown and world record holding juggler, and wanted to be a Ringling clown since he was three years old after seeing the 131st edition and watching his dad's copy of the Clown College 20th Anniversary television special. He was one of the last two First of Mays to join the Red Unit, joining just four days before the circus announced that it would be closing. Yes, he did take time off from school to be here.
Aaron Schettler is from the Class of 1993, and toured with the Ringling Bros. Red Unit from 1993-1997. Aaron is currently an investment Advisor specializing in retirement plans for individuals and small businesses.
Reid Belstock greaduated from the Ringling Bros. Clown College in 1991. He currently tours Performing Arts Centers nation wide with his Two Man show SMIRK.
Aaron and Reid have two Bronze Medals from the in competitive Juggling from the International Jugglers Association in 1997 and 2002 with the piece they will be presenting at the 50th Clown College Reunion. The Stoolies.
Edzui Edge Szumowski class of 1993 AKA Candypants for reasons hes never been quite sure of. A ridiculously proud Red unit clown from 94-96. Shot to pinnacle of mediocrity where he remains, performing his only relevant piece of material thats been confusing audiences from the high seas to sports arenas around the county for decades. Edge is honored beyond words to be a part of this merry clan.

These performers will feature their skills learned while attending the world famous RBBB Clown College and then honed in circuses, on cruise ships, theme parks, and resorts around the globe.
