The 5th Annual Heartiversary Gala is the perfect way to celebrate the heart! February has long been considered Heart Month, and what better way to share the love than to attend a gala to benefit the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA)?

ACHAs mission is to improve and extend the lives of the millions born with heart defects through education, advocacy and the promotion of research. Learn more at www.achaheart.org.

This event is open to the public and is intended to celebrate congenital heart defect survivors! In addition to dancing, there will be an open bar, cocktail hour appetizers, and buffet dinner with dessert included with the ticket. There will also be raffle items featuring great prizes such as theater tickets, autographed music memorabilia, and sports tickets, all with 100% of the proceeds going to ACHA! Donations can be made at the event or through Brown Paper Tickets.

This year is a special year, as we are excited to announce that Cristi Walker aka Scarred Beauty will be this year's guest of honor!

Cristi is a self-proclaimed change maker and bringing about change is truly her specialty! An active social media personality, Cristi has over 21K followers on Instagram! She brings an incredible amount of positive energy and positive inspiration to those seeking to bring about change in themselves.

Cristi was born with a congenital heart defect, pulmonary artresia with intact ventricular septum. Because of this, she has been undergoing cardiac care since she was born. She has undergone open heart surgery, plenty of cath lab visits, and has a pacemaker. These congenital heart defect implications don't hold her back, though! She is a true example of a heart warrior!
