253 Stand Up!!!

253 Stand Up!!! is a monthly comedy show featuring some of the funniest commedians in the NW. Held at the Bleu Note Lounge in Lakewood every first Wednesday. 253 Stand Up is celebrating a very special 4 year anniversary in comedy for the producer/creator (Ken Hamlett) and for this special event we are having a big time Local Celebrity Nate Jackson, as seen on MTV, BET, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and many more networks. Nate Jacksons TV credits include Nick Cannon Presents Wild'n Out, ComicView, Tosh.0, as well as many more.
In the not so distant future, when the first urban comedy dictionary is finally published, there will be a short list of definitions and references under the word electrifying. At the top of that list, taking up the majority of the page will be a smiling, action photo of a young stand-up comedian and future comedy Hall of Famer, 2010 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition winner, Nate Jackson.
Featuring is another superstar from the Great North West, a local Portland Favorite Lance Edward. His crowd work and ability to make funny out of nothing combined with his absolutely hilarious material is an experience you don't want to miss.
