French dramatist and playwright Jean Anouilhs wonderfully dotty and beautiful Time Remembered (Leocadia) is a hilarious, exquisitely textured French confection containing a tasty bite of the absurd. Anouilh spins a romantic tale of a lovesick prince, his eccentric aunt, and the lengths she will go in order to save him. Considered one of Anouilh's pièces roses (pink plays) -- comedies where fantasy dominated, providing a fairy tale atmosphere. Time Remembered first delighted London and Broadway audiences in 1957 starring Richard Burton, Susan Strasberg and Helen Hayes; the IRCs fresh interpretation is a mid-winter antidote for our time!

The IRC is a 501C3 non-profit organization, and a member of The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and a participant in the Barrymore Awards, a program of Theatre Philadelphia.
