Journal Scare 2: The Resurrection

Get your costume ready and join us on Saturday, October 28 for Journal Scare 2: The Resurrection ... a Halloween party and fundraiser to support Jersey City Ties! All proceeds from admission will go towards supporting Jersey City Ties' mission to build community and connect people in and around JC through volunteering, social, and networking events. This is a 21+ event.

WHEN? Saturday, October 28 starting at 7:30pm

WHERE? PJ Ryan's Squared (4 PATH Plaza at the Journal Square PATH station)

WHAT? Live music, food, drinks, costume contest, prizes, and more!

Put on your Buddy Holly glasses and pump it up with Jersey City's own Cemetery Goats (https://cemeterygoats.bandcamp.com/), who will be rocking Weezer and Elvis Costello cover sets.

Think you have the best costume in town? Show it off at our costume contest and win great prizes from shops and restaurants around JC!

Food and drinks will be available for purchase from PJ Ryan's Squared. 10% discount on your entire tab all night long!

This is a 21+ event (so bring your ID!) $10 discount price for advance purchases ... otherwise, $15 admission at the door. Admission is limited, so get your ticket today!

WHO? Founded in 2011, Jersey City Ties focuses on community engagement through volunteering, social, and networking events, and is open to anyone who lives or works in Jersey City ... or who just loves the city like we do! Over the years we have partnered with many local groups to host community service events, including the Hudson County Boys & Girls Club, Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery, Ogden's End Community Garden, Jersey City Food Not Bombs and the food pantries at The Sharing Place and Old Bergen Church. We also love to have fun and frequently host happy hours and other social and networking events to help connect folks in JC, whether you're new to the area or simply looking to meet new people around town!
