Parks Rx - Forest Therapy
Sugarloaf has been hosting a series of Forest Therapy (also referred to as forest bathing) Walks as part of our ParksRX program. This Saturday will be the last walk in that series for 2017, and we will be adding in a very special piece in response to the recent fires, and the impact to the land, and the Sonoma Valley ecology.
An opportunity to recognize our deep connection with the wild lands around us, and express our heartfelt appreciation. Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is still closed at this time due to the fires, and this walk will be held at Jack London State Park in Glen Ellen, (just 10 minutes off of Hwy. 12)
For further information about this walk, directions and the "Forest Bathing" practice, go to: https://www.sonomaecologycenter.org/event/20131

This walk will be led by Karen Sapper ANFT Certified Guide, and Mary Good CA Naturalist
Jack London Park is in it's full glory of autumn color, come join us for this beautiful way to express our gratitude this Thanksgiving weekend. We will meet at the picnic tables just up from the upper parking area.
