Club Fiend: A Misfits Burlesque Tribute

It's the season for creeps and freaks, and Excelsior Burlesque invites you to a night of horrifying burlesque the night before Halloween with an edgy twist when they pay homage to the anti-heros of horror punk, The Misfits. Every performer is a passionate fan of these musical pioneers, and the night is sure to be one of dark, creepy, sexy rock that you don't need to be a Misfits fan to appreciate.

Burlesque is full of natural rebels, and this club of tattooed, nude Fiends is no different. Proving that punk's not dead (or at least, only mostly dead) is the award winning Khaleesi of Burlesque and Destroyer of Worlds, Dangrrr Doll. Beelzebabe, the Siren of Sodom, will make you cry "Mother!" with her tribute to former frontman Danzig when she makes her long-awaited debut with Excelsior. Mistress of Dark Science, Clara Coquette, brings a shocking experiment to life - it's safe to say, she'll be electrifying. That little Jersey Devil Taylor Sweet returns to the stage all the way from the Misfits' home state - we know she's been haunting your nightmares . . . or are they dreams? Gemini Blitz is coming from even further for her debut with us: she may be a Martian, but her curves will no longer be alien to our stage. Finally, co-producer Ruby Solitaire brings you a fierce punk fan dance that screams FUCK YOU CLASSIC BURLESQUE at the top of its lungs. Excelsior staple Apathy Angel will bring her twisted, dark charms to two sets of bendy, All-Misfits gogo.

If you love horror movies or horror punk, and even if you've never heard of the band, this show will bring all your darkest desires and fears to life as we salute a band that influenced everyone from Metallica and AFI to NOFX and Evanescence with an anarchic Halloween party to start the best holiday of the year - we hope to see all you Fiends there.
