Come ENJOY this free public talk and learn how to develop compassion and wisdom in your everyday life. LEARN how Buddha's teachings offer lasting solutions to all of our daily problems. EXPERIENCE a guided meditation and understand for yourself the peace and freedom of a positive, undistracted mind.
Afterwards enjoy the bookstore, light refreshments and conversation at the Kadampa Meditation Center Texas.
Gen Kelsang Jampa, a Kadampa Buddhist monk, is an internationally renowned meditation teacher and the Eastern US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition. He has devoted his life to helping others and has a deep understanding of the problems we face in the modern world. His teachings show how we can solve these problems by developing the capacity of our mind through meditation and other spiritual practices.
Everyone is welcome to join us for this event and stay afterward for questions about Buddhism, the temple, the community, or anything else you may want to ask. There will be snacks and refreshments provided during the break after the talk.
No previous experience is necessary.
