 Back in 1974, Pierre Bensusan was cutting his teeth in the Paris folk scene when banjo great Bill Keith offered the teenager paid work touring Western Europe with Keith's bluegrass band. The French-Algerian prodigy thereby humbly launched a four decade career which would earn him the nickname "Mozart of Guitar." After more than 3,000 concerts of his innovative, instrumental, jazz-classical-folk guitar music, Bensusan celebrates his 40th anniversary with "Encore", a 3-CD, 35-track journey of live performances spanning his entire career and showcasing his risk-taking, in-the-moment style. Come tonight to enjoy highlights of the past, in-the-moment creation, & stories of a life on tour.
