 James Frederick is an indie folk-rock singer/songwriter from the Capital District. Having played at various open mics, cafes, and street corners around the area, James has become a part of the local music scene with nothing more than a guitar and a humble collection of likable songs. He takes inspiration from contemporary songwriters such as Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes), Glen Hansard (The Swell Season), and The Decemberists. James is an open mic host at Caffe Lena.
