Spend the day celebrating Women in the food industry. Championed by the Women of WE Power Food (Hillsborough, NC), and the Women of Ashe County's High Country Community Kitchen, both are 501(c)(3)'s. Women who empower, support and nurture Women already in, or just entering the food industry.
WE Power Food, Inc. is based in Hillsborough, NC. Our mission is to empower women in the food industry. We are partnering with the Ashe County High Country Community Kitchen to bring our Empowerment Expo to the women of Western North Carolina - starting in Boone this September.

As well as numerous other points of interest to enlighten any woman in the food industry - or any woman considering starting a food business. Let our experts help you sort out the processes, the expectations, and even what limitations you may need to consider.
Additionally, we will have a professional photographer on-site to take head-shots of you with or without your product. This service is provided as part of your registration.

Attendees will experience a full-spectrum day of interactive, insightful learning. The event will close with an open-topic Q&A with our full panel available to answer questions specific to our audience. Lunch, beverages and snacks will be provided by local women entrepreneurs. More details to come.
Proceeds support WE Power Food and their mission to educate and empower women in the food industry. A light lunch will be served.
Additionally, please RSVP to join us for a Meet & Greet at Booneshine Brewery on Sunday 11 September, from 3-5pm. We will have outdoor seating reserved and their food truck will be open for business.
