Stories You Have Never Heard Before: NATIVES RISING Tour
You're invited to the largest Native American storytelling tour in history as traditional storytellers Solana Rose Booth and Ravenspeaker seek to reach 20,000 Non-Natives and Natives.  Hear stories that have not been told in public in more than a century. Our culture is transmitted through our stories. NATIVE RISING believes authentic culture is fundamental to the revival of our people. Community Potluck to follow storytelling.

NATIVE RISING--Solana Rose Booth and Ravenspeaker are traditional Northwest Coast Native Storytellers. Together they have founded, Natives Rising, an organization dedicated to improving the lives and prospects for American Indian youth. To generate goodwill and support for their dream and to excite a new generation of people to a very old and culturally significant art form these ambassadors of the NW's First People pledge to perform for 20,000 around Washington State.

Doors open at 12:30pm:  Come early to visit exhibit area and Art Gallery.  Duwamish Longhouse 4705 W Marginal Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106.  

Directions:  First time guests should use map search & driving directions and allow 20 minutes extra.

Parking:  Additional free parking in area includes 2 parking lots across the street.

By bus, bike, and foot:  The longhouse is across the street from the Duwamish Trail.  By bus, take the M125 to Chelan & Spokane, walk/bike 1 mile south on the Duwamish Trail. Cross W. Marginal Way SW at the parking lot driveway of Herring House Park and walk 30 feet south to the longhouse.
