What could be nicer than a late fall afternoon at Caffe Lena with a good cup of coffee and some of the east coast's finest folk musicians.

Annalivia is an American 'roots and branches' string-band featuring the talents of Liz Simmons, Flynn Cohen, and newest member Bronwyn Keith-Hynes--three masterful players with deep roots in bluegrass, Irish, Scottish, and Old Time Appalachian music. Their sets are inventive, quirky, innovative and beautiful. Their latest album debuted at #7 on the international folk DJ charts, with the single False Sir John reaching the #1 played song on folk radio worldwide.

The Honey Dewdrops are the Virginia-based roots duo Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish. Their sound is transcendent; embedded with a sparse Appalachian clarity that speaks to listeners everywhere. Their songs shine with energy and emotion, covering the ground between hand crafted folk songs, Appalachian ddle tunes, and a cappella spirituals. This husband and wife duo lls up a room with sound and feeling that lingers long after the show is over.
