Duwamish Teachings with NW Native Storyteller Johnny Moses:  Summer is the first of a monthly series of free family friendly programs.  All are invited to share in a deeper understanding of the language and culture of the First People of Seattle, Chief Seattle's Duwamish Tribe through 5 events focusing on traditional local seasonal songs and stories.  Johnny Moses was a recipient of the 2012 WA Governor's Heritage Award.  

Doors open at Noon. Come early to enjoy Art Gallery and exhibits.

Directions:  First time guests should use map search & driving directions and allow 20 minutes extra.

Parking:  Additional free parking in area includes 2 parking lots across the street.

By bus, bike, and foot:  The longhouse is across the street from the Duwamish Trail.  By bus, take the M125 to Chelan & Spokane, walk/bike 1 mile south on the Duwamish Trail. Cross W. Marginal Way SW at the parking lot driveway of Herring House Park and walk 30 feet south to the longhouse.
