Winning the IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year award twice, Lynch has broken through gender boundaries to become one of the top female bluegrass vocalists of her time. The Claire Lynch Band made up of award winning vocalist Claire Lynch, Mark Schatz (banjo, and percussion), Matt Wingate (mandolin and guitar) and Bryan McDowell ("string wizard") plays heart warming as well as heart wrenching bluegrass.
