The trio of Brittany Haas, Jordan Tice and Paul Kowert is a confluence of three of the most exciting young innovators in acoustic music today. They have produced a body of work containing flights of improvisation and interesting compositional turns all grounded by memorable melodies and driving rhythms. The group's adventurous spirit and desire to show the audience something new never compromises the beauty of a well-crafted melody or the dance-inspiring energy of a great groove.

Haas is one her generation's most influential fiddlers. She has been a touring professional since she joined Darol Anger's Republic of Strings at age 14. Recently she has worked with Steve Martin, Abigail Washburn, and Tony Trischka.

Tice is an innovative guitarist who has been featured on the cover of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. He, too, has worked with Anger, Martin, and Trischka.

Kowert served as bassist for the Punch Brothers and has appeared on Leno, Letterman and A Prairie Home Companion. He played on the soundtrack for The Hunger Games, and has been recording with Fiona Apple, Sarah Jarosz and many others.
