International Blues Challenge: Solo Capital Region Competition

The International Blues Challenge represents the worldwide search for Blues Bands and Solo/Duo Blues Acts ready to perform on the international stage, yet just needing that extra big break. Affiliated organizations across the country are staging regional competitions, with the winner of each heading to the International competition held annually in Memphis, TN along historic Beale Street.
Our region's affiliate, the Capital Region Blues Network, has selected four area finalists to compete on the Caffe Lena stage this afternoon. The winner, selected by the audience, will win a prize package worth more than $1,000 and the right to represent the Capital District this winter in Memphis!
This year's contestants are Alana Wyld, Elly Wininger, Peter Pashoukos, and Chest'r Campbell. The winner will be chosen by combining the judges scores with audience vote, so c'mon down, listen hard, and cast your ballot for your favorite act!
