The Maine Comedy All-Stars
Arguably the fastest rising young headliner in New England. Ian Stuart is a comedian, writer and producer from Portland, Maine. Ian has released a comedy album on Acuity Records Day Drinker and had a comedy video go viral that trended on Facebook and Reddit- shared over 80,000 times on Facebook alone.

He has toured the United States and Canada multiple times and has headlined The Wip Theater in Chicago, The Comedy Works in Montreal, Caprock in Lubbock Texas, The Underground in Santa Fe, New Mexico and many theaters, venues and colleges around the US and Canada.
The Maine Comedy All-Stars featuring:

Ian Stuart is the founder of both the Portland Maine Comedy Festival and The Maine Comedy All-stars and currently teaches a successful stand-up comedy class in the city of Portland. You can find Ian on his own Pandora radio channel, filming his new web-series, hosting one of his many weekly and monthly comedy rooms throughout the state of Maine or on tour through the US and Canada (if he can get back in).

Ian has recently filmed with VICE Magazine for VICELAND TV and CNN. Hes been featured on the Tosh.O Blog, The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show, High Times Magazine and has worked with national acts such as Kyle Kinane, Matt Braunger, Des Bishop, Big Jay Oakerson, Lee Camp, Slaine, Shane Mauss, Zach Sherwin, MadChild, DJ Douggpound and many more. His writing has been featured on many blog and websites and he was a staff writer for the 420 Times  the worlds largest medical marijuana magazine.

When Dennis Fogg isnt working as owner, bottle washer, maker of sandwiches at Uncle Andys, you can find him on stage, sharing humorous stories about lifes absurd moments and that comedy goldmine we all have in common: family. When a Massachusetts law-maker proposed an anti-spanking bill last year, Fogg envisioned parents outsourcing the job to fourth graders on the playground. Evoking Marlon Brandos strained voice in The Godfather, Fogg says, How much would you charge to whack my son? Foggs first professional performance was 18 years ago at The Comedy Connection in Portland. Since then he has performed for diverse audiences throughout New England and his material has changed along the way. Usually my first jokes were a lot of blue humor and things that I thought were funny, Fogg recalls. When I was younger, I thought it was all about the shock value. Once he figured out who he was on stage, it was difficult to continue with the swearing and the sex and religion bits, Fogg says. He now thinks of himself as a storyteller and a gentle jokester.

Colby Bradshaw. Its the quiet ones you need to watch out for. Ive been told this a number of times but dont think it always applies. Sometimes the quiet ones can be very down to earth and really funny. They can even be a comedian. It definitely changed my perception of comedians after working with this guy; Colby Bradshaw. Not that I know many comedians.

With a little stint in New York City doing comedy he has brought his dry, real sense of humor to Maine. He admits it isnt easy but then again what profession is that requires you to peddle yourself out to get work. The difference is that he has embraced that and actually makes a little joke about it. Which shows you what his comedy is like. Real events with a little twist or analysis, maybe even thoughts you have had. It takes a comedian who loves his craft to take mundane objects or events and can turn them into a joke.
