Spend a full day learning how to develop and tell better stories!

CLASS 1: Story Mining and Structure

Through the use of exercises involving theme, details and story structure, participants will learn how to create a compelling personal story. Learn methods to mine for stories from your past experiences, find out how to structure your story in a way that will keep your audience engaged & explore performance strategies to present your story in a way that is authentic and entertaining.

CLASS 2: Performance Workshop

In this 3-hour workshop, participants who attended CLASS 1 will focus solely on developing their own story. In groups and pairs, storytellers will get to experiment with structure, style and tone. Each student will have the opportunity to tell in front of their peers and get feedback that relates to their specific needs.
