Walk With Israel

Location: Burke Lake Park (Shelter C), Fairfax

Would you like to do more to affect positive social change in Israel? If so, lets make an IMPACT as a community! Join us as we walk to raise awareness and raise funds that support NGOs that make for a better reality in Israel. In addition, you'll have lots of fun playing outdoor games and enjoying the beauty of Burke Lake Park.

***We'll also have a special gift for those celebrating Fathers Day!

Fee: $18 per adult; $8 per child between the ages of 5 - 18; FREE for children under the age of 5 (includes a t-shirt; water; and snacks).
**Please Register no later than June 12.

A portion of the proceeds will go toward supporting the organizations below.

First Hug
A non-profit established in 2004 to provide every abandoned baby, from birth to age of 3, from all sectors of society, with the healing power of a hug.

A Childs Heart (SACH) is an Israeli-based international non-profit organization with the mission of improving the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children in developing countries regardless of the child's nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation.

Seeds of Peace
A peace building and leadership development organization that brings Israeli and Palestinian youth and educators to its camp in Maine to provide them with the skills and relationships needed to accelerate social, economic, and political changes essential for peace. It also provides local programming to support graduates, known as Seeds, once they return home.
