Over the course of her 20 year career, Susan Werner has composed skillful songs that effortlessly slide between folk, jazz and pop. She has earned a reputation as a daring and innovative songwriter with a killer live show.  She's best known for her concept albums, in which she updates traditional styles of music with sharp, funny and incisive lyrics. Her 2017 release, An American in Havana, is the result of two trips to Cuba in the past two years and blends Cuban rhythms with her signature storytelling, humor and poetry.
