FANNY'S JOURNEY
The year was 1943 in Vichy France when 13 year old Fanny is put in charge of a group of Jewish children who find they must leave in order to save their own lives. FANNYS JOURNEY, which is based on the memoirs of Fanny Ben-Ami, is the story of this remarkable journey.
Originally sent to a boarding school where her family believed Fanny and her sisters would be safe, safety was not to be found as the Nazis approached. With ingenuity and bravery Fanny is left to lead her sisters and classmates from France to Switzerland where they find safe haven. Fanny never saw her parents again and today lives in Israel.
