This folk super group, featuring Pat Wictor of New York City, Greg Greenway of Boston, and Joe Jencks of Chicago, quickly became a favorite on folk radio and the coffeehouse circuit since joining forces six years ago. Their harmonies, as much as their lyrics, tell what they are about: warm as a campfire, stirring as a gospel church, rousing as a call to arms. Calling upon original songwriting, informed by the deep roots of gospel, blues and folk, they hit the top of the Folk DJ charts and landed on the "best of" lists of the most esteemed folk DJs in the country.
Heavy sighs can be heard throughout the folk world following the announcement last month that the three members have decided to disband as a threesome and refocus on other projects.
