About 8 STOPS:
OBIE Award-winner Deb Margolins comedy is a solo work about the grief of endless compassion. Its about death, breasts, the private lives of animals, the suburbs, illness, desire, and a subway ride with a motherless child who Deb realizes she only has 8 stops to raise. Isnt that all the time we ever really have8 Stops?
About ZOMBIE PROM:
What do you do when your high school girlfriend of one week dumps you because of overprotective parents? If your first impulse is to throw yourself into a nuclear reactor in hopes that your new ghoulish form will make her reconsider, this may be the musical for you. Set in Enrico Fermi High School, Grease meets the occult, as Jonny attempts to win the heart of his crush, Toffee. When his suicidal plans fail, he returns as a ZOMBIE! With the help of Expose Reporter Eddie Flagrante, he must convince tyrannical Principal Strict to reinstate him so that he can receive his diploma and win over the woman of his dreams. The stakes are life and death in this witty, subversive, clever send-up of high school rituals. Written by Dana P. Rowe (The Witches of Eastwick, The Fix) with a book by John Dempsey, this is a show for the entire nuclear family.
