Independence Slay: Free State's First Home Bout

Come see the Black-Eyed Suzies of Free State Roller Derby, take on the Wicomikazis of Salisbury Roller Girls. Doors open at 5pm, Bout starts at 6pm!

Free State Roller Derby is Montgomery County's one and only all female flat track roller derby league! This will be their first hometown bout and you don't want to miss it! Tickets will cost more at the door so buy them online and save!

Hero Dogs: Service Dogs for America's Heroes
Hero Dogs raises, trains, and places service dogs with military veterans injured during active service. They serve the D.C. and Maryland area.

These service dogs help wounded veterans lead independent lives by performing many services:
* providing support for balance
* opening doors and cabinets
* turning lights off and on
* recognizing panic attacks and hallucinations, seeking help
* alerting his partner to noises (phone, doorbell, etc.)

Hero Dogs provides service dogs at zero cost to the veteran.

Charity Drive
We will be collecting the following items for Hero Dogs at the bout:
* Paper towels
* Toilet paper
* Paper plates
* Plastic cups
* Disinfecting wipes
* Clear packing tape
* Heavy duty black trash bags (33 gal)
* White kitchen trash bags (13 gal)
* Dirt Devil vacuum bags (type U)
* Size 10 white envelopes
* Inkjet copy/print paper 8 1/2" x 11"

Hero Dogs will also be accepting cash donations during the bout. Stop by their information table to learn more about how you can support their work. You can also say "hi" to some of the Hero Dogs in attendance.

Halftime Show
Our halftime show will be the amazing "Glow Flow Experience." It is a captivating glow-in-the-dark performance that you'll love!

Ticket Prices
Admission is free for children under six years old.

Ticket cost includes a 10% Admission Tax. ($10 +$1 admission tax.)
