Join Buddhist monk Gen-la Kelsang Jampa as he discusses how training in mindfulness and meditation gives us the power to overcome disturbing thoughts and to stay focused on what brings peace of mind.

The talk will be given by the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Texas, Gen Kelsang Jampa.
Gen Jampa is an American Buddhist monk and the Deputy Spiritual Director for the New Kadampa Tradition. He is also the Resident Teacher of the Kadampa Meditation Center Texas.
A long time disciple of the internationally renowned Buddhist Teacher and meditation master, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Jampa has received ordination and lineage transmissions directly from him. Under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang, Gen Jampa travels extensively giving the ancient wisdom of Buddha to people throughout the US and abroad, helping them to find happiness in their hearts.
