Paul "Che oke ten" Wagner:

Just back from COP21 Paris Climate Talks. NW Native environmentalist Paul "Che oke ten" Wagner (Sannich) is an internationally-performing ambassador of the traditional songs & stories of his Coast Salish tribal ancestors.

Che oke ten's debut Native flute CD "Journey of the Spirit" won the 2009 JPF Award for "Best Native American Album ".

His 2012 album "TIME OF PARADISE" is dedicated to all the wonders and beauties of mother earth past and present, lost and preserved. It encourages people to remember the glorious world that was here only a few generations; to become inspired by the humpback whales that once flourished in the Salish Sea; and to know that we can make things better from here forward.

Paul was a featured Native Artist in the Seattle Symphony "Native Lands Project." This jointly created composition between the Seattle Symphony and Native artists was premiered in September 2013 and performed again on March 14, 2015 at the East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue.

Other available recordings include "Prophecy Teachings of the First Peoples of the Northwest Coast" (a collaboration with his cousin, Johnny Moses), & a limited-edition solo storytelling CD entitled, "Creation Stories."
