Young singer-songwriter Alex Smith grew up in Long Lake, in the heart of New York's Adirondack Park, and his music is inspired by the people of that area. His songs have a hearty, traditional folk sound paired with thoroughly modern lyrics. With a rich baritone voice and a deft guitar style, Alex sings of the way life really is today in the North Country, with all its beauty and tough challenges.
