Beer and Paint Class @ Moody Tongue Brewery

Moody Tongue Brewing Company will be hosting painting classes in our Brewery! Come join us for a class led by guest artist Maira Egan while enjoying delicious beers in an open and convivial space.

For our first class, we draw inspiration from our recently released Farmers Market Series. We will be setting up still lives with fresh fruits and veggies from the Green City Market, the same farmers market where we source our ingredients for our Farmers Market beers.

Our guest artist Maira and our class coordinator Annika will be hosting, and will be there to give you as much or as little guidance as you need.

We will also provide all art materials including canvases, paint, and brushes.

Our class will be held on Thursday, August 24th, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in our Brewery at 2136 S. Peoria, in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago.

Tickets are $35 per person and include all painting materials, in addition to one of our Perennial Beers to kick-start the creativity!

If you bring a book in good condition for us to donate to our friends at Open Books Pilsen, you'll get an extra Perennial Beer to enjoy during the class!

Open Books is an organization that relies on book donations to provide schools and nonprofit partners throughout Chicago with reading material in order to expand literacy and increase enthusiasm for reading. Their Pilsen location is just a few blocks away from the brewery, and we're excited to help out our neighbors!

No prior painting experience is necessary, but an enthusiasm for beer and art is a plus!
