ENGAGE Energy Conference

General Conference Information

September 29, 2017 : 11:30 - 5:15 with Networking Reception from 5:30 - 7:00

The ENGAGE Energy Conference will bring together senior multi-disciplinary energy experts and innovators from the fossil fuel and renewable energy sectors together to speak about the current state of our energy landscape in the West, and the opportunities offered by the future energy landscape. The Conference is a half day Friday event with keynote, panel, and networking opportunities geared toward industry, policy makers, economic developers, and innovators.

Speakers Include: Dr. Bryan Hannegan (Holy Cross Energy), Barry Ingold (Tri-State Generation & Transmission), Kevin Brehm (Rocky Mountain Institute), Dr. Garrett Fitzgerald (Rocky Mountain Institute), Walker Dimmig (NetPower), Luis Reyes (Kit Carson Electric Company), Kathleen Staks (Colorado Energy Office), Jennifer Ramsey (NREL), Steve Metheny (DMEA).

General Tour Information

In addition, guided tours of local generation facilities will be offered on Saturday, September 30. The visits include:

-DMEA's Sounth Canal hydroelectric facility
-Oxbow Mine's coal mine methane generation station
-Solar Energy International's Paonia Campus
-Tri-State's Nucla coal fire power station

Specific tour details will be provided prior to event.
