Brandywine In White 2017 5th Anniversary

Tickets are now on sale for the Fifth Annual and Anniversary Brandywine In White - the Brandywine Valley's most sought after Pop-Up BYO Summer Gala. Last year, County Lines Magazine named Brandywine In White the best "dinner with a cause" as proceeds from the event benefit a community effort.

This year's event will be held on Saturday, August 26 beginning at 5:30 pm and ending promptly at 10pm. In keeping things 'secret' we'll announce the location of the event on the morning of Thursday, August 24. The event will be outdoors, rain or shine.

Net proceeds from the event will fund the legal and outreach efforts of Neighbors For Crebilly LLC. This group is focused on helping Westtown Township and neighboring communities save Crebilly Farm and redirect the pending development planning 319 homes. Development of this community asset will threaten the environment of Westtown and nearby communities and also wipe-out a significant part of our local history in the Brandywine Battlefield. It is our responsibility to protect our quality of life and preserve and our history for our children and future generations.

Last year, your participation and generosity helped in the final days of fundraising to save The Barnard Orchard by providing funds to establish an easement on the property prohibiting development forever.

This year's event is the Fifth Anniversary of Brandywine In White and will feature some special touches at an exciting new location. Although we never reveal the location or even hint, we can say it's NOT at Chadds Peak Farm this year but at a Chester County farm featuring many of the same bucolic features and pond views.

Purchase a floating candle in someone's memory for $10 or send up a Chinese Lantern for $20 and send your dreams off into the night sky. We'll continue with a small silent auction this year featuring some special art pieces and event venues including Farm-To-Table dinners at some of Chester County's historic properties.

Your table purchase includes the table size of your choice, white chairs and a white table linen. You supply the decor, food and wine and enjoy the evening with your friends and family.
