STAND UP @ THE SPOT PRESENTS CY AMUNDSON, 10:00 PM

The Spot Panini and Wine will be welcoming Cy Amundson to their stage in a special presentation of its monthly stand up comedy showcase.

With appearances on Conan and Adam Devines House Party, Cy quickly established himself in the world of stand up comedy. Last summer, following the release of his first Comedy Central Half Hour Special, as well as their This is Not Happening program, he experienced a debilitating back injury which left him unable to promote or tour in the wake of what most stand up comedians consider major milestones. However, thats only part of the reason he has chosen to tour smaller towns throughout the country.

I grew up in Alexandria and good comedy never came through there - I didnt even know those types of shows existed until moving to Minneapolis. Now that Ive experienced being on TV, I want to bring that to small towns that I think deserve great comedy, Amundson said relating to his early beginnings.

Cy has also appeared on FOXs Family Guy and American Dad and, most recently, made his film debut in the soon-to-be-released Break Point.
