Explorer Yoga on the Trail

Stretch, breathe and hike at Explorer Yoga on the Trail on Saturday, June 10, at Blakely Borough Recreation Complex in Peckville (weather permitting). Registration opens at 8 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m. Lackawanna Heritage Valley National and State Heritage Area (LHV) and Jaya Yoga will host the program to promote health, wellness and the natural beauty of the region.

Hilary Steinberg, owner and instructor of Jaya Yoga, in Clarks Summit, will lead a combined session of yoga and hiking along the trail. The program is open to people age 12 and older, and yogis of all skill levels are welcome to participate. Yoga mats will be provided to all participants. Pre-registration is required by June 8.

Blakely Borough Recreational Complex is located at the intersection of Keystone Avenue and River Street in Peckville. Explorer Yoga participants should enter on the Keystone Avenue side of the park.
