Hope for Tyler Canvas Painting Fundraiser 2
Please join us to help raise money for 3 year old Tyler James Baier, who is battling a very aggressive childhood cancer, Aveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma.*
The diagnosis was August, 2016, when he was 2. He is a strong little boy fighting hard through side effects, fevers, and bad burns from radiation; he has already completed 28 radiation treatments and has to continue chemo until August, 2017.
This is a joint event with Creating With Friends and The Boulevard Diner providing proceeds.
There are two components that will raise money for Tyler.
1: ************ DINNER ************ The Boulevard Diner will donate 15% for all combined sales for those that attend that evening from 4pm until 10pm. If you don't want to paint, come enjoy and meal, drink, or desert.
We need to limit the number of people eating at specific times. Please indicate you plan to attend Dinner by selecting the time frame that you intend to eat. THIS WILL NOT RESERVE A CANVAS FOR PAINTING. To reserve a canvas for painting, you must Register by selecting Painting Event 5-7pm and pay for the Canvas.
2: ************ PAINTING EVENT ************
There will be a 2 hour painting event that has a specified Start and Stop Time. 5pm-7pm
The Cost is $35 with $20 from each ticket purchased going directly to Hope for Tyler for medical expenses. You MUST pre-purchase your ticket for the Painting Event online http://hopefortyler2.brownpapertickets.com/ You can contact Teresa Cutchall McCoy or Jean Leary Baier with any questions.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHOW UP THE DAY OF THE EVENT AND PAY TO PAINT! (No exceptions, we need to have adequate supplies on hand.)
Seating will be limited for the Painting Event.
Thank you Creating With Friends for organizing this event and The Boulevard Diner for providing the venue.

* Cancers that develop in children are often different from the types that develop in adults. Childhood cancers are often the result of DNA changes in cells that take place very early in life, sometimes even before birth. Unlike many cancers in adults, childhood cancers are not strongly linked to lifestyle or environmental risk factors.
Rhabdomyosarcoma is the most common soft tissue cancer in children (3% of all childhood cancers), with approximately 350 new cases each year in the United States. Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS) typically affects all age groups equally. ARMS most often occurs in large muscles of the trunk, arms, and legs. The cells of ARMS look like the normal muscle cells seen in a 10-week-old fetus.
