A Musical Journey
The distinctive sounds of the Habanera are presented here thru the beautiful sounds coming from around the world. In the musical ambiance of the Spanish Tinge, the Argentinian Tango, the Cuban Tresillo, and the Puerto Rico Danza the habanera remains prominent. Lecuona and Cervantes from Cuba, Tavares and Figueroa from Puerto Rico, Ginastera from Argentina and Granados from Spain all coming together in this exciting concert performed by pianist Peggy Reich.
