Shady Lady Rug Hooking and Oxford Punch Needle Retreat
Open Workshop ( Work on the project of your choice)
Hosts: Kathy Donovan of Checkmate Farms and Caroline Twigg of Eagles Nest Woolens.
This three day event is hosted at the incredible Blue Mountain Retreat Center in Knoxville,MD.
The three day even includes 2 nights of lodging, 6 meals, snacks and beverages (special diets can be accommodated).
This getaway is a chance to completely immerse yourself in the craft without the everyday distractions and mingling with like minded hookers and punchers. The retreat space enables people to find a cozy corner with an inspirational view and hook or punch away. Let your hosts help guide you through your project, give you new ideas or make some suggestions about your project. This is not a teaching getaway, rather it is focused on creating a space for retreat and rejuvenation. You are sure to meet others from around the country who share the same passion.
