YOGA AS LIFESTYLE MEDICINE is the title of an event spanning the weekend of March 25-26, 2017.

THIS TICKET PURCHASE IS FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 26th ONLY.

An immersion into yogic approaches to difficult diagnoses and special conditions. Geared toward all persons seeking greater health and peace of mind, their healthcare providers and caretakers.

THIS EVENT, FOR WHICH THIS TICKET IS VALID, is on SUNDAY, March 26th, the second day of offerings, and is devoted to experiential master classes and intensive trainings.
Lunch (included in price) will be staggered so that all participants will be able to participate in Round Table Lunch Discussion groups.

Loren Fishman, MD, Physiatrist, Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University, and director of Manhattan Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Prolific author, researcher and world-recognized pioneer in yoga therapy for musculoskeletal and neurological back pain, as well as myriad conditions including arthritis, osteoporosis, weight control, PMS and depression.

Judith Hanson Lasater, PhD in East-West Psychology, Physical Therapist. Widely acclaimed international teacher, one of the founders of Yoga Journal magazine. Her book, Relax and Renew: Restful Yoga for Stressful Times, is the classic text for restorative yoga.

Sat Bir Khalsa,  PhD Assistant Professor of Medicine, Brigham and Womens Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He is a research scientist conducting biomedical research on yoga for insomnia, anxiety disorders and public schools and promoting yoga research as chief editor of the International Journal of Yoga Therapy and the medical textbook, The Principles and Practice of Yoga in Health Care.
