The Weirdo Show: Hail Santa
The Weirdo Show is excited to celebrate the holidays this December at the Bier Baron with all of our dear friends. Come toast the last show of the year and remember all the fun we've had. There will be new acts and returning friends. Singing, merriment, nudity and broken glass. Probably much like visiting for Christmas, so get your holiday started early! Pour a glass of eggnog and a glass of whiskey for the wounds, and lets meet our acts!
Look who's back! Why its Mandy Dalton! Mandy Dalton is a professional comic actress and clown. She has been performing professionally for over 29 years throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. Her education in clowning started at the Ringling Brothers Clown College and her training includes work with the Moscow Art Theater School and Cirque du Soleil. Her clown credits include work at the John F. Kennedy Center, Synetic Theatre's "Black Out" series, The Weirdo Show, Central Intelligence Agency, Arena Stage, and the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Mandy is the Co-Founder of the Washington DC Comedy Writers Group.
Next, we have the man who is blowing up the Baltimore sideshow scene, Shaggy Wilcox! "Shaggy Wilcox is a stoic and multifaceted fixture in and around Baltimore's art's district. When he is not throwing people out of the Club Charles, he works as a writer, actor, producer, director, events coordinator and Burlesque and Sideshow performer. Ever since a momentary clinical death suffered in early childhood, morbid fascinations have led Shaggy to explore the darker side of human nature. Always willing to take his body to new limits, Shaggy Wilcox never stands down in the face of a challenge."
A new face to the Weirdo Show stage, we are exceedingly excited to introduce Clementine O'Donnell! Clementine O'Donnell, Baltimore's Darling of Darkness, is invading DC to perform with The Weirdo Show this holiday season! She has been performing burlesque since December 2012, specializing in Vaudeville, Neo-Classical, Nerdlesque and GORElesque. This tiny lady loves to make big messes for your enjoyment! Come out to celebrate the holidays and her burly-anniversary with her! She solemnly swears she is up to no good.
We are thrilled to see an old friend of the Weirdo Show return, Christopher Scarborough! Christopher Scarborough is an accomplished strongman, sword swallower and geek bringing all the charm of his home town Charm City! Having performed all over the United States and been a mentor to many sideshow performers, we are cant wait to see what he has been up to since the last time he was here!
After many people asking when they would be back, we are so happy to see the Misbehavin' Maidens come to close out our year. They are an all female singing group with a focus on bringing pretty harmonies to the dirtiest of songs. The group currently consists of four members. While all of the ladies come from a "pirate" background, they like to embrace a wide range of subcultures, often singing songs with references to anime, video games, science fiction, and fantasy, in addition to their repertoire of folk tunes and shanties about sex and drinking. The group performs exclusively for adult audiences, as their main goal is to entertain those who are young at heart, but who have their minds in the gutter.
There will also be a very unexpected special guest sharing a little holiday cheer as well!
This month, our host is none other than Hot Todd Lincoln! Producer of Hot Night Productions and emcee extraordinaire, Todd brings the laughs and keeps them coming. Known for his sense of grace, fantastic wardrobe and terrible puns, he will keep the show rolling. Rolling on the floor!
What better way to celebrate right before Christmas than with sideshow, burlesque, clowns, singing pirates, and a fantastic emcee (that may be wearing a jaw dropping holiday sweater)? We hope to see you there to party before the holidays!
