Seattle 2035 Young Professionals Discussion

On May 8, join other young professionals groups for a presentation and discussion about Seattle 2035, the City's update to the Comprehensive Plan.

Seattle 2035 is a citywide conversation about how we should grow over the next 20 years. Seattle is expected to add 120,000 people and 115,000 jobs between now and 2035a 20% increase from current population and employment. In response, the City is updating its Comprehensive Plan to shape that growth in a way that builds on our strengths and character as a city. We want your input on how to do it.

The Comprehensive Plan is a road map for Seattle's future and guides important City decisions about where growth in jobs and housing occurs, how to improve our transportation system, and where investments in infrastructure and neighborhood amenities are needed. At this event, staff from the Department of Planning and Development will give a presentation on Seattle 2035. A discussion/Q&A will follow where we hope to hear your questions, concerns, and ideas about how Seattle should plan for the next 20 years. Light refreshments will be served.
