About the Show:
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a Tony Award winning musical that follows the story of 6 young quirky competitors at a local spelling bee. You'll laugh. You'll cry. And who knows? You might even get to join the competition. SSTC's Spelling Bee is sure to be a winning production.

Parental discretion is advised.

A portion of our ticket sales will go towards the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), a non profit organization that works in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.

About SSTC:
Starstuff Theatre Collective is a brand new theatre company in D.C. We are a group of actors and friends who did a show together and decided we liked it so much that we wanted to do it again. Our goal is to create thought provoking, high quality, actor driven productions, while doing good for marginalized groups in our community. We believe theatre can create empathy and understanding, and can give everyone a voice, and we feel it is our duty as artists to tell the stories of people who are different than ourselves.
