Pete! The Songs & Times of Pete Seeger NWCCA Fundraising Sing-Along
In his one-man multi-media performance, dynamic banjo player and singer Peter McKee celebrates the songs, changing times and life-long creativity of music icon Pete Seeger.
McKee's performance incorporates narration, photographs, historical sound clips, and the one constant element of any Seeger concert the voice of the audience singing along to generate an experience that Pete himself often described: When one person taps out a beat, while another leads into the melody, or when a crowd joins in on a chorus as though to raise the ceiling a few feet higher then they also know there is hope for the world.
Come raise the ceiling, have some light refreshments, and support the important work of Northwest Center for Creative Aging!
