A Press Play Holiday Story"

Friends! Gather around ye yule log, for we have a holiday tale for you! The tale is: don't sit so close to yule logs. They are 33% more combustible than your standard oak logs, and while they give off more warmth and a cheery glow, they also give off sparks that can endanger your clothes, your family, and most importantly, your presents.

Okay, that's not true. But what is true is that we have a wonderful show filled with comedy and music to welcome the holidays and the New Year. Join us for some mirth Wed. Dec 14 at the newly-renovated District Arts Center.

The Line-Up:

PRETTIER THAN YOU (improv)
Prettier Than You is, um, prettier than you. Established in 2011, Prettier Than You has performed in venues all around the DC metropolitan area. We have also performed at the Chicago Improv Festival, Charm City Comedy Festival and the Baltimore Improv Festival.

TONE (musical guest)
Tone is an Artist, Songwriter, Activist, Washington DC Native, and Hip hop Caucus spoken person. Thisistone.com

PRESS PLAY
Press Play is a comedy troupe founded in 2010. Our style is deeply supportive, silly, and good-natured. Press Play has performed at venues across North America such as the LA Improv Festival, Big City Comedy Festival (Toronto), and several shows at the Del Close Marathon. We also perform regularly at improv theaters around DC, and once at a holiday party. We got paid in poinsettias. It was pretty cool.
